And thank goodness that’s the case.
I’m passionate about many things in life (you know me, perpetual multi-tasker). One such thing is entrepreneurship. And while I maybe passionate about it, I haven’t really done much lately to feed that passion. FAIL.
Last year this time, I had just competed in the Business Concept Competition. This year’s competition was last Friday and it reignited that fire in me. First of all, the competition was full of great, compelling ideas. Secondly, there were three concept teams that were all women (and one more that included a woman)–go ladies, go! I’m clearly passionate about entrepreneurship; I’m even more passionate about women assertively pursuing entrepreneurship–a proven path to financial independence, wealth generation, and legacy building.
So, my call to action: get in gear! I should be in full swing on my business plan (and getting credit for it, thanks to the awesome Venturing Darden Business Project class here). This is an amazing environment in which I can vet my ideas, have access to faculty and resources, and have time (in theory, anyway) to develop a comprehensive plan. I have two and half quarters left to make this happen…
LET’S HAVE AT IT!
