I mentioned I’m taking a photography class. Last week was the 3rd of four classes (although I missed the 2nd class since I was traveling to Darden). One of the topics in the class was shot composition. After explaining the basics, the facilitator sent us out to find something to sell. Anything. We had 10 minutes to roam the halls of this college to find some object to shoot…as if we were trying to sell it.
When we returned to class, the facilitator asked for volunteers to share their pictures. I offered up one of my shots–not because I thought I had a good one but more so because no one else would. I handed him my memory card. He loaded my picture on the screen for everyone to review and critique. To my surprise, I sold the mailbox!
