So here I am.
It’s 8:30 pm, I’m in the office, it’s 1.5 days from the soft opening of one of my projects, and I’m blogging. How’s THAT for commitment or procrastination (ok, you got me).
My brain is fried right now; needed a distraction to switch things up.
This is a busy weekend coming up–not only for me but for all of the Harrah’s properties in the Atlantic City market.
- Here at Bally’s, we have the opening of theRIDGE–a new nightlife option integrating gaming and entertainment in one space. Outrageous fun!
- Caesars has the soft opening of Dusk–DJ AM’s new club here in AC. Fire!
- Caesars is also celebrating its 30th Anniversary–there are tons of events and shows going on all weekend!
- House of Blues at Showboat is hosting the 1st Annual Legends of Hip Hop concert–after-party by Biz Markie. Crazy!
- The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s (plus their table games party pit) is always a good bet on weekends.
On Friday night, I somehow need to split myself between the RIDGE and Dusk.
On Saturday night, I somehow need to split myself between the RIDGE and House of Blues.
Sigh. What a rough life.
No really, I will be working at the RIDGE both nights: executing outrageous promotions (can you say “rock, paper, scissors” tournament?? next week, it’s flip cup! sweet.), giving away prizes, overseeing the DJ and MC, checking out the crazy video content on the 7+ plasmas, and interacting w/customers.
It’s a tough job, I know, but somebody has to do it.
